Word is out that Microsoft is going to make some changes to Hotmail. The storage will increase from 2 GB to 4 GB for the free version and from 5 GB to 10 GB for the paid version. I joined up with Google Mail a few years ago because they offered a lot of storage (2.6 GB currently). Not that I use that much but it is nice to know that I have it if I need it. I can think of a few people who will use every bit of that new 4 GB or 10 GB that Microsoft is offering. I mean, think about it. Four GIGS of email. Wow. That’s a lot to keep up with. In today’s age, you can never have too much storage.

- Even from the Apple IIGS days back in the late 80’s, I’ve always been interested in computers. The computer industry and I go back seven years and during that time I graduated college Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Computer Science in 2001 (yep, I have a BS degree). Currently I work as a systems admin and have been in that position for the last five years. Despite the current rigors of being an admin, I still view technology as being fun. One of the things I enjoy doing is helping people learn how to use their computers. Learning the basics of a computer and understanding how the computer works isn’t so bad (really, I promise!). I hope to help my readers to better understand their computers and really feel comfortable with using them. Even if a user is already computer savvy, they can always come away with one tidbit that makes their life easier.
